Hill Descent Control®
Patented by Land Rover, Hill Descent Control (HDC®) is a standard feature on all models. HDC assists the driver with controlled descents of difficult slopes by maintaining a constant speed and applying braking separately to each wheel.
Torque Vectoring
The Torque Vectoring by Braking system enhances agility and stability when cornering. The system constantly balances the distribution of torque between all four wheels, whether on or off-road, to improve grip and inspire confident steering.
Active Driveline
Active Driveline delivers benefits in both on- and off-road situations. In many on-road driving conditions, the system can disconnect drive to the rear wheels and provide maximum fuel economy. The system continuously monitors key vehicle and environmental parameters and will re-engage 4 Wheel Drive (4WD), should it be required, within 300 milliseconds.
Terrain Response®

Configurable Ambient Interior Lighting
With the option of Configurable Ambient Interior Lighting on SE and HSE models, (standard on the HSE Luxury), you can select any one of five LED accent colors to enhance the cabin to suit your mood.
Powered Gesture Tailgate
Our powered gesture tailgate feature allows you to both open and close the tailgate with a simple kicking action of your foot underneath the rear of the vehicle (providing the remote key fob is detected), so loading is that much easier. Sensors are mounted on either side of the vehicle to allow convenient curbside operation.

Blind Spot Monitor
Available Blind Spot Monitor alerts you of vehicles in your blind spot via an icon displayed in the door mirrors. Building on the benefits of blind spot monitoring, the Closing Vehicle Sensing system uses radar sensors to alert the driver to the presence of vehicles approaching fast from behind when changing lanes by displaying a flashing icon in the corner of the side mirrors.
Park Assist
Optional Park Assist makes parallel and perpendicular parking in tight spaces easier than ever. Simply select the appropriate gear and control your speed with the brake and accelerator pedals. This system will also guide you out of a space, making maneuvers easier. Graphics and notifications aid your progress.
Lane Keep Assist and Driver Condition Monitor
Optional Lane Keep Assist (LKA) is designed to sense unintentional lane drift and to help steer the vehicle back into its lane. Driver Condition Monitor (DCM) constantly analyzes driving inputs to detect lapses in concentration due to tiredness. When the system determines that a potentially drowsy driver is at the wheel, it suggests taking a break via an audible tone and a notification in the instrument cluster.
